Insole Court Manager
Originally from Cardiff, Meg has returned to her home-turf of Llandaff after many years working across the UK. She was educated at Howells School and Cardiff School of Art, then Goldsmiths College, London where she studied Fine Art & History of Art. She studied for an MA in Conservation of Easel Paintings at Newcastle.
Meg's career reveals two key interests that she hopes can be united during her time at Insole Court. She is passionate about preservation and conservation, but also about engagement and how people might access culture, heritage and art. The conflict that can arise between the two fields is a source of ongoing and fascinating debate. Before working at Insole Court, Meg managed Oriel Myrddin Gallery in Camarthen, and previously worked as Collections Manager at the Glynn Vivian Museum and Gallery in Swansea.
