Flow in the Fields with Cloudstar Yoga

We are making the most of the weather warming up and taking our practice outdoors in green spaces around Cardiff. This is the first block of classes to be offered at Insole Court’s croquet lawn through Cloudstar Yoga.

If you would like to engage with these outdoor yoga classes you need to book a place in advance. Spaces are limited because of restrictions due to Covid-19. Mats will be spaced so that you have plenty of room around you to practice. Once you have booked onto class you will be sent more information about what to bring with you to classes, and informed about other important details (Covid policy, what to expect from classes and venue information). You will be required to fill in a form with your details and information about any injuries/health conditions that might impact your practice prior to attending your first class. Our Flow in the Fields classes are taught weekly outdoors, making the most of utilising Cardiff’s beautiful green spaces and enjoying the benefits of breathing fresh air and being within nature whilst we practice. All classes are one hour long. These are mixed ability Vinyasa flow classes. Progressions and regressions are offered, along with modifications for movements when appropriate. The vinyasa style runs as a constant within classes and is combined with a focus on working breath to movement and a strong emphasis on improving core strength. I am a firm believer that we could all do with finding and maintaining our core! Classes move at varied paces to keep things interesting and incorporate lots of twists to improve back strength as we move through sequences. Students are able to build their confidence as they practice and become more familiar with flowing sequences and combining these with exercises offered specifically for strengthening their core.
