If as a parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle you've ever felt helpless in the face of a child you love's sad and painful feelings, wondering what on earth is the right thing to say to comfort them in a way that is both truthful and reassuring, this four session course is perfect for you.

Additionally, as a teacher, TA, childminder, after-school club staff member, foster carer, medical professional, social worker, sports coach, extra curricular activity leader such as scouts and brownies, women's refuge worker, refugee support worker, or any professional or volunteer who interacts with or has children in your care, if you'd like to know more about how to tackle the emotions surrounding loss, this programme is for you too.

In just four weeks I will lead you through the process that will allow you to equip children and young people with the tools they need in the face of life's challenges and help you build their resilience.

There are over 40 life events that can induce grief; not only death of a loved one but divorce, family estrangement, house moves, school changes, loss of a pet or treasured belonging and many more all result in the conflicting, painful feelings we call grief. This programme will teach you how to talk about it effectively, how to recognise the symptoms of unresolved grief and what to do about them.

Featured in "Metro" (https://bit.ly/2RYhgJ9) the programme has been successfully implemented both in schools and communities across the country and is now available in Cardiff for the first time.
