Where: Gallery
When: Saturday 13th May - Friday 30th June

Gallery is open every day from 10am - 4pm

Artist Christopher Langley is on a mission to celebrate the historic ‘watering holes’ of Cardiff.   This exhibition of giclee prints draws attention to a disappearing part of Cardiff’s unique architectural urban identity.  These bold and striking graphic images bring a sense of drama and nostalgia to characterful buildings that many of us overlook or ignore.  This show is a reminder to cherish what we have, historic pubs that are still serving include The Butchers Arms in Llandaff village.

Christopher Langley, a highly-regarded artist from Cardiff:

'I used archive images for pubs that are no longer exist like The Packet, The Park Vaults and The Custom House, and some of these images have been a challenge to capture.  With many different styles of architecture, I hope I’ve managed to render these unique and wonderful places in my colourful style of expressionist artwork.'
