Join us for an afternoon panel event hosted and moderated by 100 Things To Do In Wales’ founder Sian Williams.

By purchasing your ticket you acknowledge that the event will be filmed and photographed by the organisers.

This is an inclusive event we welcome: all genders, ages, sexualities everyone will be welcome!

Our Panel event will give you a taster session of something which you may never have tried before. The event is split into three, half hour presentation/workshops.

Panel Speakers

Rhys Roberts is a Series Producer for ITV and has worked in TV for over twenty years. He directed Crimewatch for ten of those years and has also worked worldwide directing factual based television programmes including The One Show. He most recently worked on Code Blue which won Best Factual Programme in the Royal Television Society Cymru Awards 2020. In this mini workshop Rhys will teach you some of the skills he uses when filming and will show you how you can create tv worthy videos for your Instagram account using just your mobile phone.

Gemma Forde is the workshop leader and founder of Lark Design Make. She is a fully qualified secondary school Design & Technology teacher who has taught in the UK, China and Malaysia and has now set up Lark in Cardiff to share her skills with us. For this introductory taster session Gemma will conduct a leather journal making workshop where you will get to make your own Midori journal to take home.

Kyle Rendall, having travelled the world for the last ten years, realised that he hadn’t explored his home country of Wales. He returned to Wales, trained as a hill and moorland leader and with his wife, founded Discovery Wales Tours to show off all that this country has to offer. This final session introduces you to the places Kyla has visited in Wales including hiking the Black Mountains, coasteering off the coast of Gower and canyoning the famous waterfalls of the Brecon Beacons.

There will be time to network with other guests before and after the panel, and ask questions to the panel members during a Q&A.
