Where: Drawing Room
When: 4pm on Sunday 17th November 2019

Roath Recorder Consort & Fountain Ensemble Choir

Instrumental and vocal music and readings in Italian and English from the time of Leonardo da Vinci, commemorating the 500th anniversary of his death

A collaboration between two local groups bringing to life the beautiful yet little-known music and literature of the early European Renaissance, some of which would certainly have been heard by this greatest of European Renaissance figures, Leonardo da Vinci.

Our work will carry you from the sombre and sacred to the comic and raucous via love, loss, grasshoppers and swans!
