Our Carpark is being gifted a new lease of life for Christmas!

Cardiff Council will be carrying out some essential and much-needed work to our carpark this winter, revamping the surfaces so that visitors can enjoy a fresh new carpark for years to come.

We’d like to inform all visitors that this vital project will impact our onsite parking facilities to some extent, as there will be a reduction in the number of parking spaces, with a maximum of 30 parking spaces and 12 disabled parking spaces available throughout the duration of the works.

The planned works should be completed within 6 weeks, though we expect there will be a break over the Christmas holidays, and the time-scale of the work is subject to change too. Although we don’t have a confirmed date for works, the work will most likely take place within the first few months of 2019, and we will endeavour to update our website, and inform hirers as soon as we have an update from Cardiff Council.

We’d like to thank all future visitors and hirers for your patience, understanding and cooperation over the course of the next few months, while the plans to create a better carpark for everyone come to fruition.

Disabled Parking

During this time, disabled parking will be prioritised on site, with approximately 12 disabled spaces available. Unfortunately, parking cannot be guaranteed as it is available on a first come first served basis.

Parking

For the majority of the time, there will be a maximum of 30 parking spaces for visitors. Parking outside of the allocated carpark on-site is not permitted, though visitors can find free parking available off-site in the surrounding area of Llandaff. If you choose to park off-site on residential streets, we kindly ask that you respect our neighbours.

Anticipated Noise Disruption

There may be noise disruption to those using Stable 1, Stable 2, Motor House Up, Motor House Down, Carriage House Hall and the Dairy, especially during the last few weeks. Hirers If you are concerned that your event is dependent on parking or if you are using the Stable Yard rooms affected by noise disruption, we ask that you please; a. Consider rescheduling your booking b. Cancel your booking at no cost c. Advise participants that parking will be limited onsite and they should use other means of transport.

Getting here

For the first four weeks of the planned works, there will be a one-way system in place on site, which will be signposted clearly. Permitted parking during the planned works will also be signposted and marked clearly.
