Insole Court is seeking new Trustees

Insole Court Trust is a registered charity, committed to the conservation and care of Insole Court, a mansion house and gardens in Llandaff, Cardiff. After completing the largest ‘Community Asset Transfer’ in Wales to date and an extensive restoration, the site is now reopening to the public as a new cultural, historical and community destination.

As the charity embarks on this exciting new phase, the board is also seeking to recruit two additional trustees and is inviting applications from individuals with experience and expertise in the following key development areas:

Fundraising – As a charity, Insole Court Trust relies on public and private contributions to support its work. Professional experience in fundraising and Business Development is sought to support this.

Human Resources – The charity employs a number of paid professionals, supported by a team of unpaid volunteers. A Trustee with a knowledge of HR would support the Trust advising on personnel matters.

Finance – A Trustee with a Finance and Business background would support the Trust as it seeks to build a solid commercial foundation for future development.

The role of trustee involves attending monthly meetings of the Board and other committees, usually during evenings or at weekends. Our Trustees are ambassadors for Insole Court and a vital component in developing our profile and reputation.

All posts are unpaid and are for a term of 3 years.
